Virgin Trains have selected iport4business to implement an integration project comprising several of their internal systems relating to train time performance and engineering data to improve their customer management functions. The company, based in Birmingham, will begin testing and piloting the solution using a hosted crm model initially that will dramatically reduce costs and allow them to manage the complex project without any impact on their internal IT infrastructure. Once the pilot system proves effective and is fully tested, it will be brought in-house and rolled out to all the relevant users and customers.
