Many iport users already have a full compliment of application software catering for all of their needs and they implement iport as an integration tool and as the engine of their Portal strategy.
However, some businesses do not have formal application software for certain requirements such as relationship management, service management, sales force management etc. This is where the iport Application suite comes in. These are powerful applications in their own right which compliment the iport Core, integrating into existing legacy software and giving a rich functionality to the system as a whole.
iport Relationship Manager
The iport Relationship Manager extends the “reach” of the relationships held in the iport Security Manager by allowing more complex relationships to be created (e.g. between organizations and individuals) and also by capturing specific information about individuals and/or organizations.
The kind of information collected can be tailored and changed by iport users as required. This demographic information can then be used to target specific records in the database for further processing such as sales calls, mailers, multiple updates, etc.
The iport Relationship Manager will:
Hold additional (user defined) information about individuals/ organizations held in the
iport Security Manager
Extend the database capabilities of legacy systems
Read legacy systems automatically and correlate data
Link individuals/ organizations together in logically related groups
Link data relating to individuals/organisations together in logically related sets
Select data dependent on user supplied criteria
Apply a process or processes to the selected data
Inform key users of the outcomes |
