iport Autoresponse Manager
The iport Autoresponse Manager makes it is possible to send automatic emails to users when something that they are interested in has changed. For example, if you allow customers to record service calls online, the iport Autoresponse Manager will send an email to the customer informing them of the outcome of the call and directing them to the right part of the system to obtain the resolution.
The iport Autoresponse Manager will also send emails to sales staff informing them of sales opportunities e.g. a customer accessing sales information online, either in the form of an advert or a download, can trigger an email response to the sales person. It is often possible to telephone the customer and catch them still looking at the web page: a very impressive sales aid!
iport Download Manager
The iport Download Manager allows the publication of documents to secure areas where they can be accessed and downloaded by specific users, dependent on their authority levels. It also allows the creation of “public” download areas where information can be made available to all users of the Portal.
iport News Manager
Keep your iport system active and up to date by publishing regular, short news pieces. The iport News Manager allows the creation of a news article plus a “publishing profile” i.e. it allows users to select the best target audience for the news piece.
At the very basic level, it can simply split news articles between internal and external users; but it can also be used to target news towards certain kinds of individuals/organizations thereby personalizing the experience completely. News items can also be associated to an external web-site and be pre-set with an expiry date so that when it’s old news, it simply drops off the list.
iport Content Manager
For more extensive content, the iport Content Manager allows users to create and manage online copy (including images).
This component is used mainly in the larger Portals where copy and content changes regularly and therefore needs constant maintenance.
